| Lake Washington and Lake Union are located
in the Seattle area. The two lakes are
connected by the Lake Washington Ship Canal
leading to the
Hiram M. Chittenden Locks. The Locks
are the gateway to Puget Sound and the Pacific
Ocean. Lake Washington is the second largest
lake in the state of Washington behind Lake
Chelan and is about 22,000 acres with a average
depth of 108 feet. The water temperature
ranges from the mid 40's in the winter to the
mid 70's in the summer.
There are many Marinas and Restaurants on
both lakes, the marinas listed above are some of
the most popular for boat moorage.

only legal overnight boat anchorage on Lake
Union or Lake Washington. The

Moorage and includes multiple restaurants as
well as temporary and overnight Boat
Moorage.
- Lake Union includes many restaurants
with temporary boat moorage including Ivar's
Salmon House, Chandlers, Daniels and
McCormick and Schmick's.
