Kenmore Marina on the North end of lake Washington has permanent and temporary boat moorage.  There is a Seaplane base next to the marina used by Kenmore Air. Yarrow Bay Marina provides monthly boat moorage, marine services and Lake Washington boat rentals. Bill Gates House is located in Medina, south of the 520 bridge. Leschi Marina has monthly and day moorage for access to the restaurants located there (Blue Water Bistro and Daniel's). Meydenbauer Bay is located in downtown Bellevue and provides monthly moorage and the Meydenbauer Yacht Club. Luther Burbank park is located at the North end of Mercer Island and has docks for temporary shore access. Newport Yacht Basin is a monthly lease and condominium marina. There's a public boat launch next to Newport Yacht Basin. The Mercer boat launch is a public launch on Mercer Island. Sayres Park provides a boat launch facility and hosts Seafair. Lakewood Moorage is a monthly lease marina.   Andrews Bay is the only legal overnight anchorage on the lake and is part of Seward Park. Seattle Seahawks practice field is in the city of Renton. Atlantic City boat ramp is a public launch. Parkshore Marina is a condominium association marina, with some owners leasing their slips. Spinnaker Bay Marina is a monthly lease marina. Coulon Park is a City of Renton park with temporary moorage. There is a boat launch and two restaurants (Kidd Valley and Ivars). The University of Washington The Boeing Company builds 737's at the south end of the Lake.

Lake Washington in the Seattle area is the second largest lake in the state of Washington behind Lake Chelan. It's about 22,000 acres in size with an average depth of 108 feet.  The water temperature ranges from the mid 40's in the winter to the mid 70's in the summer. The ship canal provides access through the Mountlake cut to Lake Union and the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks to Puget Sound and the Pacific Ocean. There are many public boat launch ramps on Lake Washington, most are south of the I90 bridge. Some of the best Seattle boating is on Lake Washington and Lake Union.
